The VR3 has arrived

Well the VR3 has arrived and the wait was over. Thanks to the Visionracer team for the excellent communications whilst they brought this to market. To David Harvey, Geoff Turton , Jonny Muligan and the rest of the VisionRacer Team. Excellent work.

Even though the VR3 arrived well wrapped and packaged, the box paid the price at the hands of the shipping company. Whilst the Box did take some damage  it protected it's precious cargo..

So without further Delay, Let's open the box...

Inside you can see the seat unit and all the chassis components, with the boxed gear lever mount and monitor support brackets.

No sooner had I got the seat out the box than my daughter was sitting in it, declaring it was more comfortable than the previous chassis..  I put the seat back int the box for the picture, it actually ships in a bag rapped in bubble wrap. This also amused my daughter..

Once out of the box, you can see the quality of the components. The metal work is polished to a very
high standard. and I can see many changes from the prototype unit.
In the centre of the picture to the right you can just see the tool Kit which ships with the chassis. A nice touch, and the handbook and assembly Instructions were emailed in a PDF format with instructions on how to contact the support if required. It all looks fairly straight forward..However it's late

The toolkit above it ready to go, so the assembly starts tommorrow. Stay tuned for more info and some video footage.

Cheers GSL
